This is a summary video of the 1986 Paris Dakar RAID Rally race from Paris France to Dakar in Africa.

The Paris Dakar founder, Thierry Sabine, releases the challengers from in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris on January 1st, 1986, but then during the race (he was also a competitor), he dies from a tragic accident.

The race lasts 22 days over 7,000 kilometers and crosses 7 countries. Over 500 people competed. This video was released by Duke Video under the title ¨Running Wild.¨
