| Anne Proffit has been working in motorsport since the mid-1970s as a writer, photographer and, before that as a timer & scorer. She was the first editor of the IMSA Arrow newsletter, house organ for the International Motor Sport Association.
Anne's work has been featured in such diverse publications as 'Vette, Car and Driver, Motor Trend, Racer, Race News, Classic Auto Restorer, Speedway Illustrated, Race Engine Technology and Racecar Engineering.
She has covered IMSA, NASCAR, IRL, SCCA, ALMS, Grand-Am, NHRA, Formula 1, MotoGP, AMA and just about any other form of racing you can think about.
She lives in Long Beach CA - she came out to work the first race in 1975 and stayed - with her certified hearing dog Leah.
