Joe is CEO of AdZone Arizona LLC, comprising two business units: a publishing group including Arizona Driver Magazine, plus Arizona Flyer Magazine, Arizona Rider Magazine and Arizona Boater Magazine (which appear as features or sections in Arizona Driver Magazine at this time); and also Sage Advertising-Design-Publishing-Marketing-Consulting, for which he is Creative Director. Joe’s career in advertising, publication design and media planning has served clients in tourism, resorts, lodging, events, motorsports, manufacturing and importing, heavy industrial construction, and other categories for over 30 years. Arizona Driver Magazine combines Joe’s experience in marketing, demographic analysis, media planning and logistics, as well as publication design, prepress and printing. Auto Digest Syndicate owners/editors Barbara and Bill Schaffer drive more than 150 new vehicles annually, creating a wealth of test drive features and reviews. In addition, they gather news from industry sources, trade journals and consumer magazines to compile our Auto News Update and Briefs and Rumors features, as well as the Car Quiz. Bill spent his early years growing up in a small Ford dealership in Montana and has a lifelong love of cars. After college, he worked in newspaper advertising, publishing and printing. Barbara spent her early years in newspaper advertising before transitioning into real estate. Along the way Barbara has owned some interesting cars including at ’36 Ford five-window coupe, a 1963 Split Window Corvette Stingray and a Mercedes-Benz Gullwing. The couple lives in Washougal, Washington, and travels to Arizona and other hot spots regularly, while covering automotive launches, tests and events. After working as a sports editor for daily newspapers in Michigan, Larry Edsall was on staff for 12 years at AutoWeek magazine, most of it as managing editor. He has driven more than half a million miles testing cars on four continents. He helped launch www.izoom.com, an automotive website based in Phoenix, and also helped found PAPA, the Phoenix Automotive Press Association. His books include one on concept cars, published in Italy, one on the history of the Ford GT, and more all the time. The latest of his 11 books include MIATA 20 YEARS and CAMARO: A LEGEND REBORN. He’s also chief judge of the annual Ypsilanti (MI) Orphan Car Show and has judged numerous automotive art and car shows. Kevin resides in Waterford, Michigan, with his wife Toni, with whom he raised three adult sons. |
