Overview

Bonneville Racing News is the only publication that covers all Land Speed Record racing. We include results of the Southern California Timing Association meets at El Mirage and Muroc dry lake. Four meets at the Bonneville Salt Flats, sponsored by Bonneville Nationals, Inc. and the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association are also included. The East Coast Timing Association reports regularly in our pages. We include the latest about the jet car Land Speed Record attempts around the world. BRN is also the only place to watch the progress of the Dry Lakes racers competing on the hundred-mile-long salt at Lake Gairdner, Australia. BRN editors Doc and Wendy Jeffries are racers themselves. Wendy was the first woman to set a record at El Mirage. During her first year of competition she placed second and seventh in the points race. Doc was a member of the Bonneville Salt Flats 200 MPH Club and has won the points championship at El Mirage, having set numerous records.
