Dave Destler, Editorial Director for RaceFansTV.com, has been involved with fast cars, motorcycles, and racing most of his life. He began flat track motorcycle racing in the 70s on a 750 Triumph, and raced a Rickman BSA 500 in desert events. He has attended the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School, The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving, as well as Skip Barber. Dave and his wife, Dayna, launched British Car & Bike Magazine in 1985, soon changed to British Car, and sold the publication in 1996. Still involved in publishing, the Destlers own The Magazine Factory in Canoga Park, CA. Dave has received awards for motoring journalism, as well as automotive photography.
